We welcome you to join the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society!
The Swedish Pharmaceutical Society is a non-profit organization for everyone working with medicinal drugs.
The professional network you cannot do without
The Swedish Pharmaceutical Society is the modern meeting-place for everyone working with medicinal drugs. The fact that we gather professionals from the entire pharmaceutical field gives us a unique position as an independent platform with the opportunity to offer increased knowledge, information dissemination and scientific exchange across different professions.
It doesn’t matter what position you are in, who your employer is, if you are in R&D or healthcare – our common denominator is the commitment to pharmaceuticals, and your membership will support your career.
The knowledge you do not want to miss
Annually, the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society’s local divisions and scientific sections organize approximately 80 skills-enhancing activities around the country – from evening lectures and breakfast seminars to field trips.
As a member, you participate free of charge in our activities and you have priority access to our scholarships – we grant scholarships amounting to SEK 6–7 million every year. Members also gain access to recorded content from some of our past events.
Want to know what’s on the agenda for the time being? Take a look at our events calendar.
Which local network do you belong to? And what part of the pharmaceutical chain are you involved in? We have eleven local divisions covering the entire country, 14 scientific sections, and three Special Interest Groups.
Looking for a new job? On our website, we continuously publish information about vacancies in the field of medicine.
Subscribe to our newsletter to keep up-to-date.
Together, we further the development
The Swedish Pharmaceutical Society also acts as a referral body, responding to consultations issued by the government, the parliament, and national authorities in matters concerning pharmaceuticals.
As a member, you can contribute to the society’s advocacy efforts – influence what issues we focus on and how we work to inform political decision-making and shape policy.
