EMA Through the Eyes of Its Former LeadersA fireside discussion

Thomas Lönngren, former executive director at EMA, and Tomas Salomonsson, former chair of the CMHP, have unique experiences with EMA, and at this event we will discuss the evolution and future of the agency.

At this fireside discussion event, Thomas Lönngren and Tomas Salomonsson will, under the moderation of Björn Carlsson, formerly MPA and CAT alternative delegate, discuss topics relevant to the progression of the EMA.

Listen in to their unique experiences with EMA and welcome to join the discussion!

The discussion will cover topics like;

• the workings of the scientific committees,
• the bureaucracy of the agency,
• how the new medicines legislation could potentially change the agency,
• the agency’s past and future role in the EU governance,
• NCAs resources and their contribution to the work done by EMA.
