The Section for Pharmacognosy wants to raise awareness and disseminate information on natural products usage, such as: medicines or in the preparation of medicines, herbal remedies, herbal medicines, functional foods, products in the boundary between foods and medicines, and dietary supplements.

We aim to highlight interdisciplinary aspects which include chemistry, pharmacology and botany.
